Residents will soon hear the sound of the Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council’s new Town Guide landing on their doormats. This provides up-to-date information on shops and services in our towns as well as background on churches, local activities, sports, youth and community groups with contact details as well as items of historical interest.
Town Clerk, Tatiana Cant commented, “We hope our parishioners will find all the information they need so that they can enjoy making good use of the facilities in our towns. We are very keen to engage closely with our community and hope that residents will keep this booklet somewhere safe to refer to as the next edition will be produced in 2 years’ time.“
Residents will also find Town Council leaflets tucked into the Town Guide: a useful Contact Us guide explaining which local government council is responsible for each public service and how to contact them, a Plastic Free leaflet showing how local people can help the Town Council to become a Plastic Free Community as well as a flyer with details of the forthcoming Neighbourhood Plan Referendum on 20th September. If there is any further information you would like to receive, please check the Town Council web site or contact the office.
