Free guided Bat and Moth night walk at Apex Park

Come and enjoy a free guided Bat and Moth walk around Apex Park, Highbridge on Monday, 13th May at 9 p.m.

The walk around the Green Flag award-winning park, which is managed by Sedgemoor District Council, will look at the wonderful range of nocturnal wildlife throughout the park particularly Bats and Moths. Walkers will be under the expert guidance of Pete Grainger, Sedgemoor’s Ecologist.   Meet at the Information Centre at the top of the car park;  supervised children are also welcome.

The walk will take place over mostly level ground but please wear suitable footwear and warm clothing. Please meet Pete at the Information Centre (near the toilet block) in the main Apex Park car park which is just off Marine Drive. Visitor parking is free in this car park but we do encourage walking or cycling to the park.
