Job Vacancy - Receptionist

Salary pro-rata £18,065 (SCP 3): Initial 1-year contract, subject to review on 31/10/20

Burnham-on-Sea & Highbridge Town Council is seeking a Receptionist/Admin Assistant to undertake customer facing and phone reception duties and to assist with general administration.

 

This is a part-time role for 22 hours per week over 4 days (excluding Wednesdays) between 10am and 4pm or 9am and 3pm (30min lunch break). It is imperative that you are personable and able to undertake receptionist responsibilities to a high standard. You will also be computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.

 

You will be a team player and will work closely with Town Council colleagues. You will ideally have experience of customer service. Knowledge or experience of working within a local council will be a distinct advantage.
